After installing, CostControl needs to be activated. 
You must first start the CostControl server: go to  Start - Programs - QPR CostControl and click "Start Server". The server will show a screen to enter the activation key. Please read the instructions below on how to obtain an authorization code.

I do not yet have an authorization code

Please contact your sales partner or QPR CostControl.

I already have an authorization code

First, you will have to obtain a 'license code' that will unlock CostControl. In order to do this, please go to the CostControl licensing website and follow the following steps:

• 1. Enter your authorization code
• 2. Fill in the form (all fields are required) and copy the locking code the server gives you to the licensing website.
• 3. Click 'Proceed'. If everything went allright, the licensing website should give you a license code.

Copy the licensing code from the website to the CostControl licensing screen and click 'Add'. CostControl will then restart.
