Corporate Performance Management (or CPM) combines different business methodologies into an integrated way to implement and monitor strategy. The different business methodologies it combines:
- Strategic Balanced ScoreCard;
- Activity based costing, budgeting and management;
- Operational Balanced ScoreCard (operational metrics to measure operational performance);
- Processmanagement (procedures and monitoring of processes and changes therein);
- Risks management, which assesses the likelihood and impact of future events, both positive and negative, and monitoring of the execution of mitigation plans; and
- Systems, which are the technology solutions that combine methodologies, metrics, risk-mitigations and processes into a single corporate-wide management system.

Both in monitoring realization of forecast and simulations as well as in assessing the planned strategy ABC in general and CostPerform in particular provides the starting point and the basic information needed. In combination with QPR’s ProcessGuide and ScoreCard all of the necessary tools to perform CPM is available.
